Pura Tanah Lot

For the Balinese, Pura Tanah Lot is one of the most important and venerated sea temples. Like Pura Luhur Ulu Watu, at the tip of the southern Bukit Peninsula, and Pura Rambut Siwi to the west, it is closely associated with the Majapahit priest Nirartha. Ulun Danu Water Temple

Ulun Danu Temple is the island’s most iconic and sacred water temple. Located on the shores of Lake Bratan in the cool mountains near Bedugul, the temple is an eleven-story pagoda that appears to float on the surface of the water. Built in 1633, Pura Ulun Danu is a shrine to lake and river goddess Dewi Danu, also dedicated to Shiva, Parvathi and the Buddha, whose statue is enshrined inside the main temple.
