Bali Nightlife

Seminyak Nightlife

Our Top Pick amongst all areas is Seminyak. Seminyak Nightlife rules the party scene in Bali with some of the most happening hotspots for nightlife located here.

Ku De Ta, Seminyak

Bali’s original sunset destination, Ku De Ta is a restaurant, bar and beach lounge set to an eclectic soulful soundtrack with panoramic views across the Indian Ocean. Open from 8am until late, Ku De Ta covers every mood and taste as the day progresses, serving up a variety of dining options – from informal grazing to relaxed fine dining. The open-plan venue features a main restaurant area, dedicated bar, a lawn area on the beachfront where all special events take place, and a special private loft for secluded VIP functions.

Potato Head Beach Club, Seminyak

Home to one of the best sunset views in Bali, Potato Head Beach Club has four restaurants, four bars, an infinity pool and large lawn, all overlooking the Indian Ocean. Knowsn as one of the most happening chill-out venues in Seminyak, Potato Head joins the array of world-class hotspots that line this upscale, cosmopolitan coastal village. At scheduled events, international DJs and celebrities take the stage in front of an ocean backdrop, while lively crowds gather over the central lawn. Among those who have graced the agenda are Mark Ronson, Foster the People and Fat Boy Slim. Potato Head Beach Club is also the regular host for the Ultra Beach Bali EDM festival.

La Favela, Seminyak

Situated in the heart of Seminyak and quoted as truly one of Bali’s most exquisite hotspots, La Favela opened its doors in mid 2013. If you’re looking to dine, drink or dance, La Favela is the place to be. Here you can rub shoulders with an international crowd, and hit the dance floor at weekly late night house parties, from 22:30 through to the early morning. International DJs such as David Herrera and resident DJ ‘Funktastic’ Maick Rodriguez play disco, funk, R&B, hip-hop and anything of the 60s, 70s and 80s. A big attraction is the funky décor – there’s an old ‘kombi’ van that’s been turned into a bar, along with a mini replica of Christ the Redeemer that looks over everyone and, along with a menu that’s bursting with tapas and cocktails, brings a taste of Rio to Bali

Jenja Club, Seminyak

Club Jenja Bali is a late-night party venue in Seminyak with ultra-stylish interiors spread out over its two floors. The club occupies much of the eastern corner of the arcade at the TS Suites Bali’s lifestyle complex on Jalan Nakula and opens its doors nightly from 21:00. The club features a lounge area called ‘Up at Jenja’, while downstairs features the bar and main party space. One wall bears a massive floor-to-ceiling mosaic of opaque and stained glass, which provides a warm interplay of colours as a backdrop to the lounge and party scenes on both floors.

OPIVM Bali

OPIVM Bali (pronounced ‘Opium) is newest nightclub is an unique 2-story building located in the trendiest part of Seminyak. With its fabulous vibe, high quality service, valet parking, excellent entertainment and enticing array of premium cocktails, exclusive VIP bottles and shisha services courtesy of personal table butlers, (available in selected areas of the club). The club’s soundtrack is mainly house music and techno, with international DJs and other artists regularly featured. OPIVM Bali’s self-proclaimed mission statement is “seduction,” and accordingly, the club’s decor includes dancing poles and podiums, along with aerial performers, which adds a burlesque element to the clubbing experience.

Mirror Seminyak

Mirror opened in Bali in early 2015. Owned by the All-In group, who also own the popular Fable Club in Jakarta, Mirror is arguably the trendiest place in Bali at the moment, which means it’s crowded most nights. The venue’s interiors and overall design looks like a Gothic cathedral, but with glittery mosaic-like wall décor, stained glass windows and towering ceilings that are matched with futuristic laser lighting systems, giving you one of the coolest and most immersive spaces to dance your late evenings away to industrial, deep bass, house and hip-hop music.

Kuta Nightlife

Back in the day if you spoek about Nightlife in Bali, nothing could top the Kuta Nightlife scene, but all that is in the past now. However we do have two venue’s that make the cut. Having said that Kuta still has draws a lot of crowd to its Nightlife Strip but most of the others simply pale in comparison.

Velvet & Hypnotized, Kuta

This is really two excellent spots rolled into one. Velvet is a modern kitchen, bar and lounge, specializing in stylish cocktails and serving up a dynamic fusion of Asian and European Food. Located on a roof top on the third floor of Beachwalk Mall, right in the centre of Kuta, this is a great place to enjoy the sun setting over Bali with a cool drink in your hand. As the darkness falls, head downstairs to the Hypnotized Club for some pumping EDM and commercial dance music, played through a first-class sound system and accompanied by LED screen multimedia and lighting. Decorated with elegant gothic interior design, the club is in a class of its own.

Sky Garden, Legian

Located right in the centre of Kuta’s Nightlife Strip, Sky Garden is Bali’s headquarters for clubbing. Voted as Best Nightclub in Bali for the past 7 years in a row, this multi-level complex is the place to experience the full force of party culture on Bali. With recent DJs on the bill including Yellow Claw, Marshmello, Steve Aoki, Afrojack and Timmy Trumpet, Sky Garden is all about the music; a night to remember across 5 different floors, Sky Garden is the place to be when visiting Legian. (Recommeded to book a section if you are travelling on a MICE group)

The Rock Bar Jimbaran

Perched atop distinctive rock formations along Jimbaran’s pristine sunset coast, Rock Bar Bali (located inside Ayana Hotel) is widely respected as one of the globe’s most popular sunset, cocktail and entertainment venues. Showcasing unparalleled views from 14 meters above the Indian Ocean, Rock Bar is accessible via AYANA’s dramatic cliff side inclinator. Featuring a glamorous sunset vibe, and a seductive after-dark ambiance, listen to premier international DJs as they heighten your experience from a custom DJ booth carved directly into the cliff face
